#4 Simulations

Why is the Simulations used / necessary?

a simulation is a computer programmed to mimic something else. simulations are used to immitate or process an event and see how it would happen in real life. by using a flight simulator you can practice without having disastrous events occuring like crashing.

What hardware is needed for the Simulation?
Depending on the quality of flight simulator it will use different hardware. these are some examples of hardware used:

  • DVD Drive
  • 32 MD DirectX 9.0c compatible video card
  • pedals
  • artifically generated hardware
  • hydraulic control systems
  • What software is needed for the Simulation?
The software needed for a flight simulation includes:

  • Controls e.g. joysticks
  • Buttons
  • If available Simpits
  • visual pilots
  • flight simulator software
  • Where do you think this type of Simulation might go in the future?
i think it can still go further as everything because we are learning more everyday so i believe it can be possible for a flight simulator to get better, exactly like real life enconters.
